It is very comforting to know even if you are alone in this world that there is someone in another world, what I believe is a third dimension standing beside you all the time.  So to me that means that I am never truly alone and am loved with my angel of protection there for me.

I would love to share with you below this lovely poem by an author unknown about the protection that angels give to us all.

The Angels

This is a very inspiring poem that I have printed up near my workspace.  When I see it then it reminds me of their great love and support from my angel of protection.  I know I have at least two angels looking after me, I cant tell you why I know this, I just feel it probably is the best way to explain it.  As the poem says it is also my responsibility to learn what they teach me about what I need to know about life and the after life and I hope I am living up to that expectation, at least I know I am aware of it and trying.

May your angel of protection surround you and keep you safe and well.  This is my wish for you today.

Angel Guides are there for you to love and protect you.  You only have to ask for their help and it will be given if it is in your best interests.  They often will whisper in your ear so you have to be ready to listen.  You might have experienced something like this when suddenly an idea comes to you that will solve a problem you have been worrying over.

Angel Guides can help you back on the right path when you feel you have lost your way.  We may have started our lives with goals and dreams but somehow they have all disappeared and we may feel helpless to change our situation.  Your angel can help you find your talents or rediscover yourself and your potential.    What I use to do this is meditation and brain frequency recordings from The Unexplainable Store.

Meditation can help you get in touch with them as well as help you hear them or understand what they are trying to say to you.  With the angels and meditation you can awaken your spiritual levels to a new height.  Meditation is now accepted by the scientific community to help you with stress related problems and in our stress filled lives this also has to be a bonus.

Trust your angels guides also to help you with physical and mental healing.  You have heard people say they have been touched by angels and these stories usually involved healing.  You have nothing to lose by asking for healing when you need it.  I advise asking their help in a quiet time just before you go to sleep as this is a time your mind is quiet and ready to channel your thoughts.

I have asked my angels to help me in several situations in my life and I always got help.  Why not believe and tap into their power and love and thank God for them.

There is a soul mate for everyone I believe.  When I was single a wise friend of mine told me this but added that there were many potential partners for everybody, it just depended how much you wanted to compromise.  Relationships are like that, no one is perfect, even me    I found this to be very true when I really thought about it, but I wanted someone that I didn't have to compromise too much with, a soul mate.

What I did was find the best person to consult that would guide me to my soul mate, so I turned to my Guardian Angel.

These are 6 things I did to help this along:

1.  Be happy as you are.  You don't need someone to make you happy as you can be happy within yourself and then this will attract into your life someone special.

2.  Resolve problems from previous relationships and release them.  Don't carry excess baggage around with you into the next relationship.

3.  Do things for yourself, like warm scented baths or light some incense before bedtime to help you connect to your Guardian Angel.

4.  Before you go to sleep ask your Guardian Angel to send someone into your life that will become your soul mate.

5.  Listen to any message you receive through your dreams that may be guiding you.

6.  Repeat steps 4 and 5 as often as you think you need to and be patient as it will happen, you just don't know when.

This method worked for me and I have been with my soul mate now for 8 years.  I had been by myself for the previous 10 years and it was only after asking my Guardian Angel that within three months I met my fiancee.  After being by myself for so long it hasn't been easy adjusting to being part of a couple, it has taken time and we accepted that, but we are quite content and happy today and I can truly say he is my soul mate.

There have been many reported instances where the dying person has seen a bright light at the end of a tunnel.  This is often depicted in books, movies and TV shows.  If they pass through the light many see a being of light and the feeling of being surrounded by love.

These beings are described as Angels or spiritual figures and in my own experience with my father, he told me that an angel was with him in the corner of the room, his name was Michael, and he was amazed I couldn't see him too.   He described him as beautiful and he seemed very pleased to have him there.  This was in the week preceding his death.

Skeptics will dismiss near death experiences as the body being deprived of oxygen or hallucinations, but my faith leads me to believe that these Angels are there to help us pass over.  Many of the people who go through near death experiences and come back are no longer afraid of death and become more spiritual in their lives.

The things you will need:

Start at the front door and light your smudge.  Let it light for a minute then blow it out.  It should smoulder.  If not then start again.  Also during the smudging if the smoke stops then light it again.

Take the smudge around the house making a circular movement with the dish letting the smoke cleanse any negative energies.  Say the prayer while doing this.

When you finish let the smudge burn itself out.  I like to finish where I began, at the front door and then walking outside that door, facing away from the house throw the ash to the wind.

You can also use this technique for any object such as tarot cards.  Remember never leave it in case of cinders.  You don't want to burn anything.

This is an example of a simple prayer:
I call on y angels to protect this house, my santuary.  Let no harm come to it or those who live here and let goodness and love dwell always.

You can use this prayer or have one that is appropriate for you or your beliefs.  Why not try smudging your home and feel the difference it makes.

This is a lovely poem about Guardian Angels and I think it really explains their role.  They are always there in our lives so why not talk to them each day and thank them for their guidance, support and comfort.

Always remember that if you need help in some way ask your Guardian Angel and he/she will help you.   May you also have the wisdom to follow their advice.  You won't hear their voice as such but you will receive their message.  Listen to these messages carefully.

Most religions believe in a Guardian Angel or Spirit Guide of some sort.  Getting to know your own heavenly Angel is not difficult but with practice it makes it easier.  The first step is to acknowledge that you do indeed have one and that they are with you in times of happiness, sorrow, grief or turmoil.  Know that they are there to help you through your life.

I talk to my Guardian Angel(s) and most often this is while I am traveling in the car, and this is probably because I feel them closer maybe because of being more enclosed and also the quiet of the open road.  I travel through the countryside to get to work each day which takes me about an hour each way.

They know that I look for their protection and they haven't let me down yet.  When I am really troubled I will often ask them for help.  I listen in my heart for their messages and sometimes it's just a matter knowing what to do or say.  It's a kind of intuitive feeling or message that comes through.  Remembering to listen for these messages is important.

I can't say I have actually seen my Guardian Angel but I have felt them near me and a few times I have seen a glimpse of movement in the corner of my eye.  This has happened to me a few times while I was growing up (in the family home) and later while I was visiting there.  All the family believe that this is a protective heavenly angel who looks after us and our children, especially the babies, but really the Guardian Angel is associated with my mother.

I dream that I am discussing issues and goals with my heavenly Angel, and this is for me a wonderful way of talking to them and getting advice.  I wish that I could connect more often but I know they are always there for me.  What I do to prepare for these  dreams is the same as for any dream.  I listen to some relaxation music or do a simple meditation while lying in bed, ready to go to sleep.  I keep my journal next to my bed so I can record the dream as soon as I wake up.
